Reward Structure: How You Earn
RBL values a Reward Point at ₹0.25 — its own working figure rather than a published redemption table.
0.13% is the lowest base rate in this dataset. At ₹0.25 a point, 1 point per ₹200 returns ₹1.25 on every ₹1,000 spent.
The welcome benefit caps at ₹50.
RBL rounds down on every transaction. A ₹350 spend at 1 point per ₹100 earns 3 points and the ₹50 is lost — every time, not cumulatively.
RBL stopped paying rewards on a whole category block on 13 November 2023 — Fuel & Auto, Utilities, Insurance, Quasi-Cash, Real Estate and Rental, Education, and Wallets. The same list is excluded from milestone spend.
| Spend | Effective rate |
|---|---|
| Everything else | 0.12% |
| Fuel, rent, wallet loads, government, gaming | **0%** |
Category Restrictions: Where You Won't Earn
- Where you earn nothing: Earns nothing at all: Fuel & Auto, Utilities, Insurance, Quasi-Cash, Real Estate and Rental, Education, and Wallets and Service Providers — RBL's own category list, excluded from earning AND from milestone spend calculation, with effect from 13 November 2023. Railways and Government are excluded on some cards additionally. Base Reward Points are also NOT accrued on EMI conversion of retail transactions, including Split-N-Pay and EMI requests placed at the point of sale.
- Point expiry: Reward Points expire after the validity period RBL prescribes and are forfeited on card closure. Points transferred to a partner programme are governed by that programme's expiry rules, not RBL's.
- Redemption fee: ₹99 per redemption.

Is the RBL Bank QuickPay Credit Card Worth It?
At ₹99 the card cannot really lose money, and that is the entire case for it.
₹50,000 of annual spend returns about ₹63 in points. If you want a cheap card that earns, the free Paisabazaar Duet pays 1% up to ₹500 a month — roughly eight times this, for nothing.
No fee waiver is published, but at ₹99 it hardly matters.
